Black Forest (Fandom Witcher)

History

In 1267, Geralt's company wanted to visit the forest to search out the druids for information on Ciri's whereabouts.

While the druids originally lived in Caed Dhu, they were later forced to flee south to Loch Monduirn and, later, Caed Myrkvid.

Notes

  • In Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Caed Dhu is incorrectly placed on the left bank of the Yaruga (south of the river) rather than on the right (north of the river).

Trivia

  • "Coed du" means Black Forest in Welsh. The Black Forest is a forested mountain range in southwestern Germany.
