- If you refuse to forgive the fallen knight during Equine Phantoms and return to Pinastri to tell her, Geralt will recommend drawing a line of salt along the threshold and windowsills to keep the umbra out. Returning later, you can see that she did in fact draw a line of salt across the door, though this does not protect her death.
