To the east lies the valley of Dol Angra, and to the west, Loch Monduirn. It is about sixty miles to the south of Riverdell. The Slopes are famous for their vast forests and related industries as well as being the birthplace of the anti- Nilfgaardian movement known as the Free Slopes.
Emblems
During the Second Northern War, Nilfgaardian forces in the region bore a sign of the silver bear. The bear is also a sign of the witcher school reportedly stationed higher in the mountains.
