After the breakout of the Second Northern War in early July 1267, it was on a bridge over the Dyfne that Margrave Mansfeld of Ard Carraigh and Field marshal Menno Coehoorn of Nilfgaard embraced and shook hands, securing Kaedwen's brief allegiance to the empire.
