History
Around 1225, the estate was purchased by the semi-retired witcher, Preston Holt, after he suffered a permanent injury that meant he could no longer take regular contracts. In the spring of 1229, Preston brought Geralt, who just started on The Path for the first time, back to Rocamora while Geralt thought over Preston's offer to become his successors. During this time, Preston would further train and teach Geralt, particularly in self-defense tactics that didn't involve a sword.
However, after Preston claimed to have killed the mage Artamon of Asguth, he was sentenced and hanged. Preston's former agent, Timur Voronoff, then bought and took over the estate in 1230.
