The place got its name from Pointer and his family, who chop down trees in the area for the coal burners.
History
In early July 1245, Geralt passed through here during his patrols to find anything on the mysterious massacres in the region. However, either unaware of such or with different priorities, Pointer complained things were bad: one of his saws had gone missing.
