The Heldenbrevier accompanies four inhabitants of the coastal region, who could not be more different: a cheerful Winhaller Bardin, a battle-tested border rider, a proud clan warrior from the Windhag and an efferd-faithful seafarer from the Sturminseln. In diaries and letters, the unequal companions tell of their adventurous search for the lost cancer knight Cancradoc and their journey through the country on the Great River. Their way leads them from the mystical Schleiensee through the dark Muhrsape to the colourful port metropolis of Havena.
