The first half of this book provides a broad overview of the island of Pan Tang. This includes background on the Island and the City of Hwamgaarl, info on the Pan Tangians, the Church of Chaos, special rules for Pan Tangian magic, and encounters in Pan Tang plus a digest of stats.

The second half of the book contains a set of adventures, including: "See Hwamgaarl and Die", "Slaves of the Demon Isle", "Chaos Exultant", "One Who Laughs", and "Under the Volcano".
