Arcanis was a pit-fighter in the Grand Coliseum of Otaria. While humanoid in appearance, no one knows their race or gender due to their mysterious cloaked nature.
Trivia
- The name Arcanis comes from the word "arcane," meaning obscure. The character was concepted as something dark and mysterious. The art was made to communicate how sinister the unknown can be.
- Arcanis' card deliberately omits a race type.
- While the Flavor text refers to Arcanis as "he," the Onslaught creative team originally said that no one actually knows whether "he" is male or female.
- Arcanis was the featured character of the Cunning deck of Duel Decks: Speed vs. Cunning.
- Arcanis was featured in the Secret Lair Drop Series: June Superdrop 2022 as part of the Rule the Room drop.
