Chanto Umezawa
Chanto Umezawa (oo-meh-ZAH-wah) was the father of Haki Umezawa and the grandfather of Tetsuo Umezawa. He was a distant descendant of Toshiro Umezawa.

He was a peasant farmer who was called to fight in the Kentsu during a rebellion on the Edemi Islands. After the war, he never fought again but made his fortune by making swords for Kentsu generals and wealthy nobles.
