Zilgeth
Zilgeth was the leader of Clan Ruby in Storgard in the Ice Age of Dominaria. When a Johtull Wurm attacked Storgard he sacrificed himself to fend off the creature with an Incinerate spell.

When a Johtull Wurm attacked Storgard he sacrificed himself to fend off the creature with an Incinerate spell. After his death and burial, Freyalise became the new leader of Clan Ruby.
Note
It is told in the comic that Zilgeth aspired to be a planeswalker. In prerevisionist sources, every wizard could become a planeswalker if they mastered the relevant spells.
