When a human hunter slays a monster, they usually leave that monster's offspring to fend for themselves. Kaheera seems driven by instinct to protect any and all young it comes across, and it raises its diverse brood (formed by monsters from every dominant clade of Ikoria) as its own.
Kaheera fought in defense of Ikoria during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse.
