Lurrus makes its den in the Indatha lowlands. The planeswalker Vivien Reid stumbled upon its lair while exploring, and found a litter of adorable nightmare kittens inside. Lurrus apparently has the ability to appear and disappear at will, because when Vivien tried to take a closer look at the kittens, Lurrus appeared from a wisp of smoke. Vivien quickly made her exit.
Lurrus fought in defense of Ikoria during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse.
