Description
Caparocti is leader and holy champion of the temple soldiers of Pachatupa. He is a fierce warrior who imagines that he is the blinding light of the sun come to smite the foes of his people. He has a superior view of himself, thinking himself a better tactician than the warrior-poet Huatli.
History
Caparocti served in the first siege of Fortress Leor. He also acted as advisor to the emperor during New Phyrexia's invasion of Ixalan, although he counseled the emperor against a decision that resulted in a decisive tactical victory for the Sun Empire.
Later, when Huatli led an expedition to the Core of Ixalan, Caparocti was one of the soldiers taken along. In the Core, he fought against the vampire demons of the Queen's Bay Company, killing Clavileño in revenge for the death of Inti. Witnessing the horrific acts performed in the Core convinced him that the Sun Empire should go to war against Torrezon, although Huatli stopped him from taking any further action. After surviving the battle at the core, he was appointed the emperor's voice in negotiations with the Oltec.
