Chitlati is a dinosaur knight of the Sun Empire, and aide to Huatli, a supportive and practical assistant. She plays a significant role in translating and facilitating communication for Saheeli in the intricate and politically charged environment of Ixalan. Chitlati is resourceful and attentive, capable of offering both logistical support and companionship during Saheeli's challenging journey.
History
Chitlati was introduced to Saheeli as Huatli’s aide, tasked with assisting her during a critical mission. After Huatli's departure on an expedition, Chitlati ensured Saheeli's safe transition from Orazca to Queen's Bay, and then onto a ship that set out for the open ocean. During the arduous sea journey, Chitlati supported Saheeli, including offering her food and drink to help with her seasickness. She also facilitated Saheeli’s meeting with Apex Priestess Caztaca Huicintli, ensuring that she was properly introduced and attended to. As the journey continued, Chitlati remained a steady presence, helping Saheeli prepare for the next phase of their mission and ensuring her smooth transition to the new tasks ahead. She served as Saheeli's interpreter again when the artificer attended a meeting between Caztaca Huicintli and Elenda of Garrano.
