Kira

Kira (KEE-rah), Great Glass-Spinner, is a kami of Kamigawa.

History

Kira is an infamous kami that can ward itself and others against spells using coatings of magical glass. It is said that it sees each spell as an intricate tapestry and that it is the great unraveler of them. A samurai once tried to strike the fragile-looking bubble created by Kira but instead her sword shattered into countless pieces. It appears as a small humanoid fish-like creature wrapped in a ward bubble.
