Activities
After Arymilla Marne's defeat during the Fourth Succession War, Jarid's forces retreat from Caemlyn while still supporting Elenia Sarand. Bayrd and his men camp on the road to Whitebridge and are hit by a bubble of evil that turns all metal soft. Troubled by Jarid's increasing fervor to try and kill Elayne Trakand, Bayrd and his men abandon Jarid and march for the Last Battle.
He is then seen in the Last Battle protecting Two Rivers archers with other andorans mercenaries.
Trivia
- Bayrd is named after Thomas DeSimone, a fan of The Wheel of Time. The name comes from a personal communication between DeSimone and Sanderson.
