History
After the Taint on saidin was imposed by the Dark One, Brassion worked with a group of female Aes Sedai to create the Artifice of Brassion, a ter'angreal which gave a female channeler the ability to gentle a male channeler without having to link with other women, in hopes of male channelers being gentled as soon as possible. Although the ter'angreal was completed, it could not be used, as Brassion succumbed to the Taint sooner than he expected and murdered the other creators of the ter'angreal, with it being lost until the end of the Breaking.
