He acts as one of Ituralde's guards during the Battle of Maradon. He survives the initial attack and manages to limp inside the walls when the Saldaean relief comes. He is again guarding Ituralde when a section of Maradon's wall is destroyed by enemy Dreadlords. Connel manages to drag an injured Ituralde to the Healing tents.

  • Connel is named after Sean O'Connell, a fan of The Wheel of Time.
