History
Dalresin had a scholarly disposition. After having a son, Taringail, with his first wife, he married for a second time for love to a fellow scholar. He had three daughters: Anvaere, Innloine, and Moiraine, the youngest of whom was born with the spark. Moiraine was born to his second wife; it is unknown if he had Anvaere and Innloine with his first or second wife.
Dalresin's decision not to use his second marriage to secure land or power for House Damodred drew the contempt of his brothers, King Laman, Moressin, and Aldecain.
Dalresin died when Moiraine was training in the White Tower. During Moiraine's test to become Aes Sedai, Elaida a'Roihan challenged and taunted Moiraine with an image of Dalresin begging for help.
