Desartin was overthrown in the Knoks Rebellion. He had been looking to set up his own kingdom, but had treated his own people terribly and the people eventually had enough of his brutality.

Desartin was overthrown in the Knoks Rebellion. He had been looking to set up his own kingdom, but had treated his own people terribly and the people eventually had enough of his brutality.
He had one of the largest forces of soldiers outside of Lugard, but many of the mercenaries who he had gathered stood with the common folk and opposed him, as he had been unable to gain anyone's loyalty.
