Hightower

Master Hightower is the owner of the ferry in the town of Taren Ferry.

Appearance

He has a narrow face and pointed features. He is compared to a ferret and a weasel.

Activities

For a large sum of money, he transports Moiraine, Lan, Thom, Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene and all of their horses across the river in the middle of the night, aiding them in their flight from the shadowspawn that attacked Emond's Field on Winternight.

Nynaeve forces him to row her across the Taren in a row boat as she attempts to catch up to the boys and Egwene that have been spirited away by Moiraine.

It is unknown if Master Hightower survived the Trolloc attack on Taren Ferry that preceded the Battle of Emond's Field.
