Given his nationality, it is likely Jerasid was hired after Perrin and Rand return from the Battle of Dumai's Wells and before Perrin Travels to Ghealdan.
After arriving in Ghealdan, Jesarid is one of the farriers that look after Stepper and Stayer, despite Perrin wanting to do the work himself. Jerasid then travels with the group to Malden to rescue Faile Bashere. Jerasid, Aemin and Falton are working the night Faile meets with Alliandre Maritha Kigarin, Arrela Shiego and Lacile Aldorwin.
