Appearance

He is a slender man with graying brown hair.

History

He was a Sovin Nai before he was a clan chief. He is of the Haido sept.

He is married to Turolin, his roofmistress.

His clan and Bael's Goshien have had a Blood Feud for the last four-hundred years. The water at Chain Ridge Stand is a bone of contention between the two clans.

Activities

He is present at Alcair Dal when Rand al'Thor declares himself Car'a'carn at the same time as Couladin. After this he takes his clan to Rhuidean while waiting for all the rest of the clans to gather there.

Due to Rand's ta'veren nature, Jheran and Bael heal the blood feud between their clans and swear water oaths to each other. He now seems very calm.

He leads his Aiel clan when he is sent to the Plains of Maredo when Rand gathers a massive army in preparation for the attack on Illian.

Jheran is present during the signing of the Dragon's Peace. Rand originally leave the Aiel out of the document, but after Aviendha brings this up, it is amended. The Aiel are to become the neutral enforcers of the Dragon's Peace, settling any border dispute's are tracking down criminals across different nations as they see fit.
