Activities
When Moiraine Damodred, Lan Mandragoran, Perrin Aybara and Loial travel through Jarra, Simion greets them and welcomes them to the inn. Simion sees Perrin's eyes, he asks Perrin to speak with Moiraine regarding his brother, Noam. Perrin and Moiriane go to see Noam and discover that, while he is a wolfbrother, his humanity is lost and there is nothing either of them could do. Simion, in gratitude, brings Perrin's meals to his room so no more locals will see his eyes.
Parallels
According one legend, Bajan, the son of the Bulgarian ruler Simeon the Great had the ability to transform himself into a wolf. It seems more than coincidence that he shares his name with someone who has a brother who had also transformed into a wolf.
