He is the youngest of the Clan Chiefs in the meeting with Ladalin, Mora, Tamaav and Jorshem, twenty years after the Seanchan gained the Andoran war machines.
He blames Rand for abandoning them and that their honor was taken from them, that there is no point being the People of the Dragon if they are just to be cast away.
Errata and Origin
He is also mentioned in the Companion entries for Ladalin and Mora as Takei. The Thirteenth Depository blog previously speculated the character, as Takai, could be named after George Takei, but it is unclear if this is the case or just a typo because Takei is a more well-known spelling.
