Toram din Alta Wild Winds

Toram is the Cargomaster of the Wavedancer and he is married to the Sailmistress Coine din Jubai Wild Winds.

Appearance

He defends the ship whenever it is under attack, and has earned a long scar down the side of his face due to one of these battles. He is heavy-shouldered with gray hair. He has four gold rings in each ear.

Activities

He is very displeased with his wife when she deceides to go to Tanchico instead of Shara where he had had trades routes already sorted out.

Notes

His full name is listed officially as Toram din Alta Wild Winds in his entry in the Companion. Unusually, he shares the salt name of his spouse, Wild Winds while they have different famil names (din Jubai vs din Alta). The only other spouse pair we know among the Atha'an Miere, Amel din Monaga Stone Anchor and Zaida din Parede Blackwing, does not share this pattern. Since the salt name is earned by the owner, it's umclear why this might be so and it may be an unresolved detail in Jordan's notes that made it into the Companion.
