Elnore was married to a shepherd, and had a daughter with him named Nynaeve. Her daughter considered her a very difficult woman to live with.
Elnore never had to raise her voice; she told people what to do, and they obeyed, even the Coplins and Congars. The Women's Circle always asked her to speak first so that people could know her opinions before opening their mouths. Every woman in the district wanted her advice, and most of the men, too. Elnore never lost her temper, but even Doral Barran, the old Wisdom, jumped to apologize as soon as one of Elnore's rare frowns appeared.

In Nynaeve's test for Accepted, she has a daughter named Elnore, after her own mother.
