History
She was one of the nobles who didn't support Morgase Trakand when she assumed the throne after The Succession, and was forced to swear fealty to her afterwards.
She has been thrice widowed. Some said that it had ben her hammer-like gaze that had put them underground.
Activities
She was one of the nobles who hung around Lord Gaebril in the Throne Room of Andor. After Gaebril's demise she now fawns over Rand al'Thor.
A group of nobles including Arymilla, Elenia, Jarid, Karind, Naean, Lir, Henren, Carlys, Daerilla, Elegar, and Lord Nasin watches Rand practice the sword against five men in a courtyard of the Royal Palace in Caemlyn. Nasin tells Rand he is another Jearom.. Lady Karind Anshar gasps and panics when Taim is lead into the courtyard.
Lir and Karind debate whether to support Naean or Elenia for the Lion Throne. She leaves Caemlyn only to return with her armsman as part of Arymilla Marne's forces, which are currently laying siege to the city.
Karind and her armsmen ride with the army when Arymilla mobilizes her entire force and attacks the Far Madding Gate. Arymilla's army is hit behind by half of Elayne's force and in the end Arymilla's army surrenders. Karind is brought before Elayne Trakand and publicly throws her support behind her.
She is present at the meeting with the neutral High Seats and Elayne. There, they throw their support behind Elayne giving her the required Houses she needs to obtain the Lion Throne.
