She was born Jenn Aiel. At five years old, she was kidnapped by people the Jenn traded with.
Her father already mourned her as being dead, but her mother, Morin, gave up the Way of the Leaf to rescue her. She was, presumably, rescued and raised Aiel, rather than Jenn.
