Madic takes Mat to Larin when he wants to see Elayne and Nynaeve. She disappears out of sight when they confront Teslyn and Joline. She reappears, however, to summon Mat to Tylin. He is glad that she comes to save him from the Aes Sedai, but Laren assures him that the Queen really wants to see him.
When the strange relationship between Mat and the Queen starts, Larin personally brings Mat a basket sent by Tylin for breakfast as she did with supper the night before.
