After Elayne Trakand, Nynaeve al'Meara, and Egwene al'Vere had been abducted by Adden, Aviendha found Luaine and Dhael and rescued the women. Some time later, when Rand al'Thor was kidnapped by the White Tower Aes Sedai, Sulin sends Luaine to find Nandera and Rhuarc so that they could help find him.
