Latelle Luca is a stern-faced woman with dark eyes and short dark hair.

Activities

Before marriage

When Elayne Trakand, Nynaeve al'Meara, Thomdril Merrilin and Juilin Sandar join Valan's show, he introduces them to Latelle. When the Chavana brothers flirt with Nynaeve over dinner, Latelle attacks Nynaeve with a stick. This causes Nynaeve to respond in kind and Petra Anhill, the show's strongman, has to carry Latelle back to her wagon. When Valan learns of this, he forces Nynaeve to apologize to Latelle. Later, when Cerandin and Nynaeve begin fighting, Latelle seems to still hold a grudge as she hands Cerandin a stick. This grudge, however, appears to have mellowed, if not vanish, when Nynaeve and her group depart the show in Samara.

After marriage

Despite Valan wishing to marry Nynaeve, he marries Latelle. She seems to be a bad cook, as Matrim Cauthon did not like the food she cooked for the dinner Matt had with Valan and Latelle . Latelle is one of the few people who know of Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag, Selucia, and Egeanin Tamarath's true identities.
