Oselle

What good is your Fortelling, if you cannot tell us when? The world rests on this!

What good is your Fortelling, if you cannot tell us when? The world rests on this! The future! The Wheel itself!
— Oselle to Deindre in the Hall of the Servants

Oselle was an Aes Sedai during the Age of Legends.

Appearance

She had long black hair and seemingly fierce temper.

History

She appears in the Seventh vision of Rand in the ter'angreal of Rhuidean standing in one of the rooms of the Hall of the Servants with half a dozen Aes Sedai, all female, planning over Callandor and the Banner of the Dragon based on the Foretelling of Deindre Sedai.

Making the Eye of the World Edit

Oselle might have been part of the group of female Aes Sedai who created the Eye of the World with the help of young male Aes Sedai – Kodam and his fellows – who were not yet touched by the taint of saidin. Her death is not known, only that those who made the Eye died during the process. Jonai's memories indicate that Callandor was taken care of later, after the Banner of the Dragon. "The sword must wait." as it is said, and Callandor was set in the Stone of Tear also with the use of both saidin and saidar. The order of the events are not known.
