Appearance

Haesel is a plump woman.

History

She stayed at the Gates of Heaven Inn in Canluum at the same time as several Aes Sedai, including Cadsuane Melaidhrin, Larelle Tarsi, Felaana Bevaine, and Merean Redhill. Though not in the company of the others, the newly raised Moiraine Damodred of the Blue Ajah also stayed at the inn concurrently with the them while on the search for the infant Dragon Reborn. After being questioned publicly by Cadsuane and Felaana, she seemed a wilder to the innkeeper, who had Moiraine share her room and bed with Haesel Palan. Moiraine did not enjoy the night; Palan snored and spent half the night talking.
