She is a green-eyed freckle-faced girl around sixteen years old.

Tabiya is of low average strength for an Aes Sedai, with a One Power potential of 27(15). She would be unable to Travel without linking with another channeler. She would not yet have reached her potential, having only been in training for a couple of years.
Activities
She is one of eighteen novices that were brought from the White Tower to Salidar by Sheriam Bayanar. The others include Angla and Lucilde.
She is present when Siuan Sanche, Min Farshaw and Leane Sharif arrive in Salidar. She is one of the novices in Elayne Trakand's class. She summons Thomdril Merrilin and Juilin Sandar to the Little Tower. She is sent to serve Egwene al'Vere when Matrim Cauthon arrives in Salidar.
Notes/Errata
The Companion notes that she is both Tabitha and Tabiya, though it is uncertain why they need be the same person. She is referred to as Tabiya in Lord of Chaos, Ch. 8 and The Fires of Heaven, Ch. 26, and as Tabitha in Lord of Chaos, Ch. 29, Lord of Chaos, Ch. 38 and Lord of Chaos, Ch. 39. Both are referred to as having a green eyes and freckled.
