Appearance

Tinna is statuesque, has the bearing of a lady, the build of an Aiel and the color of a Saldaean. She is quite pretty and has long brown hair that curls and she wears in a tail. She seems to be fairly young but this can be caused by her channeling abilities.

Strength and Abilities

Tinna strength in saidar is unknown. Due of her dialogue with Teslyn Baradon it can be either that she was sent away from the Tower because of her weakness or instead because she failed one of the two tests to become Accepted or full sister (as Reanne Corly and Sumeko Karistovan did, despite being strong).

It is not usual until the schism that novices or Accepted know how to link in a circle, but Tinna knows this technique. Maybe it was taught to her and to other Dragonsworn by Teslyn, in preparation of the Last Battle.

History

The age and nationality of Tinna are unknown although her complexion and somatic characteristics may indicate that she is from Saldaea. Teslyn speaks to Tinna as if she was for a while in the White Tower and later sent away. This is confirmed by the WoTC where it is stated that she was turned out of the Tower for complicated reasons she was unwilling to share.

Activities

Tinna commands a group of Dragonsworn during the Last Battle in Merrilor. On orders of Teslyn she gathers more female channelers to make a circle and weave a huge gateway to the Polov Heights for the army that Mat is regrouping.

It is presumed she survived the conflict.

Trivia

  • Tinna is named for Tina Wagner, a fan of The Wheel of Time.
