Erland was raised in the wilderness of the Silverwood Forest, where he lived alone with nature. But the evil sorcerer Kharon came and devastated the sacred oak grove at the heart of Silverwood. Erland was able to kill Kharon with his arrow, but the druids could not heal the harm done to the forest, and it began to die. Erland departed and became a wanderer, finding success in adventuring.
Erland joined a band of adventurers—Darius, Luthor, Red Cloud, Shinesta, Torgo, Xenobia, and Ignatius Max—who battled the dragon Blackheart before traveling to Waterdeep. However, en route, all eight of them were caught by the mists and taken to Ravenloft. Count Strahd von Zarovich appeared to them and bade them destroy the monsters and killers sent by Lord Loren Soth to kill Strahd, on the promise of sending them back.
Description
Small and slight of build, he had light brown hair and wore brown with green boots and gloves. He carried a spiked bow.
Personality
He was a loner who avoided others and enjoyed only nature and archery.
Abilities
He was a master of the bow. He could fire arrows of flame and arrows of slaying, and could produce a 'fireshield' for defense.
