Janya spent the first three years of her life within the Royal Harim but was moved to a secret location deep within Al-Akara Mountains for her own protection. She was to live within the mountains until Khalil fathered a male heir, or named her heir, or until she was of an age to be married. She was able to visit her parents in Huzuz regularly.
Janya and her sister, Dalia were protected by both jann and elite agents of the Soft Whisper.
Relationships
Janya was the child of Khalil and his most favored wife Tanya bint Perijan. Her name honored both her mother and grandmother.
