Abilities

Tamr had a talent for rhetorical discourse and debate, and she was also well-educated on the Chun language and knowledge of genies.

Possessions

Carrying both defensive and offensive equipment, Tamr was known to use a ring of protection from fire and a staff of striking, the latter of which held fifty charges.

Relationships

As Adnan's favorite student, Tamr was looked upon as his own granddaughter. However, he could not bring himself to risk venturing into the elemental planes after her himself, nor did any of Tamr's fellow pupils offer to lead the search. Therefore, her teacher, sleepless with worry, considered sending an adventuring company to uncover the truth.

History

Some months before or during 1367 DR, Tamr disappeared after she was sent to the court of one of the genie lords, the Sultan of the Efreet, at the request of Adnan. There, she was to find answers for the Grand Caliph's sterility. In case she ever returned, the sha'ira's private quarters were kept empty, ready for her use.

In truth, Tamr simply found herself trapped on the Elemental Plane of Fire. She did not have a way to return to Zakhara, and, in all the months she was gone, neither had she secured an audience with the Sultan. By then, she no longer cared for her quest's success. Though she would still attempt it if a group of adventurers offered aid, Tamr was happy to simply leave the City of Brass and go home.
