Lavender (Grubb) Boffin was a hobbit of the Shire.
She was born a Grubb and was the sister of Laura Grubb. She married Otto Boffin and they had four children: Hugo, Uffo, Rollo, and Primrose.
Etymology
Lavender is the name of a purple scented flower. Her name would be keeping in the hobbit tradition of naming women after flowers.
