Description
Edelbern is a goliath. He is described as having "a remarkable gift of mathematical acuity" and prefers the beauty of stone towers to that of nature. He is also idealistic and dedicated to his work in restoring Tal'Dorei, which has caused him to be easily manipulated by the League of Miracles and granted them increasing power.
Biography
Edelbern belonged to the Rivermaw Herd, which absorbed the Herd of Storms in 811 PD. He grew up in Westruun during its occupation by the Herd of Storms, and this is where he discovered that he preferred architecture to nature. He used his skills in math and interest in civic architecture to help restore Westruun. During the second campaign of Critical Role, Edelbern acted as the Master of Development on the Tal'Dorei Council, having taken over the position from Theadorn Krazz. In this role, he is dedicated to restoring Emon and the rest of Tal'Dorei's cities after the devastation of the Chroma Conclave attacks. To help in this endeavor, he has added an "unprecedented" eight lieutenants to his office.
