Frida was an intelligent and professional woman who used her abilities to help those around her. She blushed when her husband flirted with her, even after years of marriage.

Biography

Frida was a woman from Wildemount who showed talent for science and magic, becoming a doctor and a wizard. At some point in her adult life, she married a noble, Lord Darius de Rolo, and had three children with him: Greta, Dane, and Isabella de Rolo. When the kids were still young, their parents led an expedition that sailed from Port Damali, but there was a shipwreck, and although they survived, they ended up lost in the Alabaster Sierras. Eventually they found a valley where they rested, and when they noticed a beautiful golden tree there, Lord de Rolo considered using it to repair their vessel; the Sunfather (the group's priest) confirmed its holy nature and its connection with the Dawnfather, so Darius decided they would stay there for the time being.

As time passed, it became clear that the travelers would settle in the area, and since winter was coming, Darius told his people they would build a more secure settlement to protect themselves. Until then, Frida had been using her powers to help people work the materials they had been scavenging, but she and the Sunfather also noticed a strange luminous material in the area; when they asked for permission to do some research, Lord de Rolo encouraged them to do so. As a new city started growing, Frida became a respected figure with her husband, leading engineers and mages; when she had time, however, she liked to have lunch with her children near the Sun Tree, so they could play, and reading to them when they got tired of running around. Eventually Frida discovered the properties of the local whitestone, and they decided to name their city after it.

The city-state flourished under the rule of Lord Darius and Lady Frida, their children grew up and eventually formed their own families, and Darius lived long enough to see Whitestone Castle rising. After he died, Frida survived him only for a few years before passing away herself, and the couple became the first people interred in the family crypts. Moreover, a statue of both of them, made of whitestone, was built in the center of the city.
