Leona seems to have a certain competitiveness with her twin, and doesn't hesitate to pick on him when she has done something better than him. Both seem to be very insightful.

Background

The twins were born to Percival and Vex'ahlia de Rolo, the Lord and Lady of Whitestone, as the second and third child of the couple, with Leona being the second girl after Vesper Elaina.

After the apogee solstice of 843 PD Leona's parents became allies of the Exandrian Accord and were preparing to aid them in their conflict against the Ruby Vanguard. One morning, the de Rolo siblings were gathered by Gwen and Vesper at the Sun Tree as their parents had requested. The twins were aware of the importance of the situation, especially after Vex'ahlia told them to take care of each other, although they seemed hopeful when she explained that their mission was to rescue their uncle; their mother also asked Leona specifically to keep an eye on Gwendolyn to make sure she wouldn't try to follow them, so the middle sister immediately started paying attention to the youngest. They showed strength at first, but when Vox Machina prepared to go through the portal that Keyleth had opened, the de Rolo siblings allowed themselves to openly show concern, and even shed a few tears.
