History
Bell was born around TA 2926 (SR 1326). She was the wife of Hamfast "the Gaffer" Gamgee and mother of Hamson, Halfred, Daisy, May, Samwise, and Marigold Cotton. Her son Samwise became one of the most famous of hobbit-kind who helped Frodo on his journey to Mount Doom.
In adaptations
Bell Goodchild appeared in the 2003 video game The Hobbit as a child playing hide-and-seek in the Old Mill with other hobbits.
