Hobson Gamgee
Hobson was the son of Hob Gammidge and his wife Rowan Greenhand. He had four children: Andwise, Hamfast, May, and Halfred Gamgee.

Hobson was the son of Hob Gammidge and his wife Rowan Greenhand. He had four children: Andwise, Hamfast, May, and Halfred Gamgee. He was the grandfather of Samwise Gamgee through his son Hamfast. Little else is known of his life save that he was a rope-maker and may have been a resident of Tighfield.
