Arc 3: The Chroma Conclave

In late 810 PD, Mikael lead three regiments of the Daxio Outriders to Syngorn on a diplomatic military mission to aid the elven city. When the Chroma Conclave attacked Emon, Syngorn actived its threshold crests, Plane Shifting the city to the Feywild and stranding Mikael within the city. The outriders were split between those within the city when it teleported and those that were camped outside.

Eventually, Syngorn returned to the Material Plane, and Mikael and the Outriders marched with the Verdant Guard to Emon in order to free the city from Thordak and his lizardfolk army, the Scions of Flame.

" The Siege of Emon " (1x78)

Allura Vysoren Scried on Mikael to find a suitable location to which she could Teleport Vox Machina and described him as restless. Allura and Keyleth then transported Vox Machina and several of their allies to the war camp outside of Emon, where they were lead to meet Mikael. He recognised Vox Machina as the intended strike team and began strategizing with them in preparation for the siege. Keyleth informed him that the Air Ashari would be lending their support in the fight. The group agreed to begin the attack at sundown and that Keyleth would send up a signal once Vox Machina was in position. Mikael wished them luck and Vox Machina left for Greyskull Keep.

" What Lies Beneath the Surface " (1x81)

Mikael agreed to assign a number of the city's soldiers to keep watch over Thordak's horde, which contained much of Emon's economy.

Post-Campaign One

In 831 PD, Mikael Daxio was murdered by the vampire Vrylaska Fellbranch using a dagger of frozen blood in the bottom floor of the Watchman's Rest pub within Fort Daxio. Following investigations, Fellbranch escaped capture, and Daxio was resurrected. He has since retired from commanding the fort and as of 836 PD has been on extended holiday in Syngorn.

Elle Gorgofon

General Elle Gorgofon considered herself to be friends with Mikael Daxio. At the time of his retirement, she had served under him for thirty-five years.
