The Mighty Nein ran into one of the armies of the Dwendalian Empire on the road from Zadash to Berleben. Captain Maximilian approached them with few soldiers and after a few questions warned them that army would take a long time to cross the road. After finding out that Mighty Nein's cart was broken, he brought a few carpenters to fix it for them.
