Queen Judessa was a responsible and compassionate woman, who looked after her people, and tried to find a way of helping the elves without hurting her own subjects.

Biography

Judessa was born in Uthodurn as a member of the royal family, and eventually became the queen.

In 585 PD a cataclysm caused by an object from Aeor corrupted both the city of Molaesmyr and the surrounding Veluthil Forest, creating what is now known as the Savalirwood, and leading to the fall of that elven nation. King Imathan Talviel, leader of some of the surviving elves, went northward with his people, surviving the cold of the Flotket Alps, and eventually arriving in Uthodurn, whose inhabitants took pity on them and allowed them to stay.

Despite the initial kindness of the inhabitants of Uthodurn, as the years passed tension with the elves increased, partially due to cultural differences but also because of the impossibility of returning to Molaesmyr, since the origin and solution for its curse was unknown. Queen Judessa, worried about the division that was forming between her subjects and the refugees, decided to meet with King Imathan, and to the surprise of many, offered to establish a diarchy in Uthodurn. Judessa and Imathan deliberated for months on the matter, discussing how to establish social harmony between the disparate societies and adapt the city for that purpose. During that time and the following years of relative harmony between dwarves and elves, Imathan and Judessa forged a deep friendship.

Queen Judessa died in 794 PD and was succeeded by her daughter, Simone Fruunast, who maintained a good relationship with the king of the elves, continuing her mother's policy.

Imathan Talviel

Judessa treated Imathan with respect, honoring his position as leader of his people despite having lost his throne and kingdom. They collaborated to create a new dual society, and in the process they forged a strong friendship. Imathan still honors this friendship by taking care of Judessa's legacy and continuing to work with her daughter.
