Zuala

Description

Zuala had tangled brown hair and brown eyes. She was dressed in brown and wore blue jewelry. After going through the Marking I had an indigo diagonal line under each eye going across each cheek.

Background

Zuala was not originally a member of the Dolorav, arriving when both she and Yasha were in their teens. She and Yasha trained together learning combat skills, and became very close friends. They were both chosen for "The Marking", a testing ritual marking their acceptance as warriors of the tribe, and as such, were bound to follow the strict rules of the tribe wherein each member was assigned a mate by the Skyspear.

However, Zuala and Yasha fell in love and married in secret. When the Skyspear assigned a mate for Zuala, she refused and confronted the Skyspear, who executed her. Yasha escaped their tribe during Zuala's execution, and thus did not witness her death.

Zuala was buried in an unmarked grave on the southern banks of the Seepfeed River, which much later, Beauregard helped Yasha find.
